The Sanctuary - 5 Star 5 Diamonds!

2007 marked an incredible year for The Sanctuary! Currently the resort I work at is the only resort in the world that is AAA 5 Diamond, Mobil 5 Star, has a 5 Star Golf Course (Ocean Course), and a 5 Star Spa (one of only 3 in the nation.) This has been my managerial mission in 2007: To build a team that is 5 star and now we are one of only 31 resorts in the Nation with 5 Stars and 5 Dimaonds. You will see the passion and genuine caring southern hospitality pour from the staff when you enter, and no other resort can match us. We are now the trend-setters. I can't wait to see all the creative ideas in our heads be put into practices that will be adopted by other hotels worldwide.

Damn thats a Big Pool

Check out this pool at the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo in Chile. This is the largest pool in the world. Chile's monster pool uses a computer- controlled suction and filtration system to keep fresh seawater in permanent circulation, drawing it in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out at the other. The sun warms the water to 26c, nine degrees warmer than the adjoining sea. It cost 1 billion Lira and took 5 years to build. Just to maintain the pool with cost 2 million Lira per year.

As my dad used to say when I was like 12, "Go brush the pool, it will make you strong and build your muscles, pal."
